Water for Water to Help Us Value Water

Australian stores are awaiting new Water for Water, new bottled water, which has a clear social value. The product, developed by Mindscape Films designers, is not aimed just to quench your thirst but rather reflect international goals of water.

There are lots of different words on the label, but in fact they are just one single word “water” in many different languages. This move, together with the general design of the bottle, is supposed to stand out on the shelves.

All the profit from the sales of Water for Water will go for implementation of various projects related to water. Currently, the focus is a water station in Caloocan, Philippines.  The station will provide clean potable water at low cost, as well as host a community centre that will provide education both for children and adults, and also run programs on healthy living.

The actual visual part may be argued with, sure, but I love the idea’s social aspect, and hope it works out for all the parties.
