Sostav.ru, a Russian website collecting news and articles about marketing, advertising, design and many more, happening around the world, has made a nice move to engage the audience.
Knowing how many companies related to the sphere are visiting the website during and outside the office hours, the guys have made a decision to carry out the sort of a beauty contest.
The contest was named Miss Advertising, so the visitors were encouraged to submit the profiles of the ladies they know have anything to do with advertising. Special board of judges (comprised of sostav.ru people, I believe) took the responsibility to name the participants the queens of various stuff. To list a few of them, there were the following titles:
Miss Fairy-Tale, Mis Charm, Miss Perfection, Miss Barbie, Miss Youth, Miss Sun, Miss Unexpected, and many more.
I’m not sure, but could be that every contestant was given a certain title.
And not just that. After the winners were announced, the users were encouraged to post comments with more participants and more suggested titles for them, which prolonged the engagement of the users in the event.
Are there any international sites in any field that are ready to carry out something like that?
