Another interesting rating from Russian Forbes, this time the actors have been analysed in terms of the money they’ve earned and glory they’ve got in the media

1. Sandra Bullock.

Earned: $56 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 21. Mentioned in Internet: no. 17

Sandra had all the chances to rest after two hit movies (The Proposal and The Blind Side) and after winning a well-deserved Oscar. With $56 million she became the highest paid actress. However, the media hype was not so positive – much of came up after breaking up with Jesse James. She then made better news by adopting a child and participating in MTV Movie Awards.

2. Johnny Depp.

Earned: $75 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 22. Mentioned in Internet: no. 16

Owing to Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Depp has become one of the most successful actors of the last year. His next promising movie Tourist is also expected to bring a decent income to both the actor and the producers.

3. Angelina Jolie.

Earned: $20 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 30. Mentioned in Internet: no. 10

The mother of six preferred to take a rest from movies, therefore she’s lost several positions in the general rating (dropped from no. 1 to no. 18). She shot for magazine covers, though, and we are waiting for her return with Tourist and Salt.

4. Jennifer Aniston.

Earned: $27 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 41. Mentioned in Internet: no. 22

Love Happens and The Bounty Hunter might have failed, but Jennifer still is on top of the list. Media talks about her, she keeps shooting in romantic movies, and she keeps getting something from Friends series.

5. Brad Pitt.

Earned: $20 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 15. Mentioned in Internet: no. 12

Pitt is an attraction in himself. He starred in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and his appearance was not the last factor to attract the audience and earn $314 mln for the movie. Also, his relationships with Angelina Jolie is a nice topic for media.

6. Tom Hanks.

Earned: $45 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 44. Mentioned in Internet: no. 42

Angels and Demons is the main source of Hanks’ income. In his next movie Larry Crowne he was also a director and a screenwriter.

7. Ben Stiller.

Earned: $53 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 61. Mentioned in Internet: no. 68

The brillian comedian’s movies sold $2 bln in the US cinemas, which has made him one the best paid actors. Other than acting, he acts as a producer (Megamind from Dreamworks for example).

8. Robert Pattinson.

Earned: $17 mln. Mentioned in Press: no. 37. Mentioned in Internet: no. 7

Most income comes, of course, from The Twilight movies. However, next year we expect another one, with no vampires, Water for Elephants, where he stars with Reese Witherspoon.

9. Tom Cruise.

Despite recent carreer falls, Tom’s earlier works keep bringing constant income. His Knigth and Day, where he starred with Cameron Diaz, may take hip up again, and there is also Mission Impossible IV to come in 2011.

10. Adam Sandler.

Adam keeps getting over $15 mln per movie he stars in, and he also is a producer (Mall Cop, or soon to come The Zookeper).
