Loki & Bartleby agency has developed a nice concept for outdoor print advertising for Credit Bank of Moscow.

The idea was to increase the credibility of the bank with the audience as well as deliver certain new services of the bank.

The concept is based on the stereotype that a huge promise written in a huge font on an billboard is supposed to be accompanied by some sort of a trick which is always written in a small font. These ads, however, have the footnotes confirming the main message.

The images are based on the play with background and foreground where big objects placed on the background are perceived as small ones. This old play has been well used for conveying the message: It is a small world.

The billboard features a badly injured lady presened as “the champion in racing across traffic road”.

The billboard may seem offensive to some, but I believe it rather appeals to positive emotions. The main goal of averting people from crossing the road in a wrong place may not be reached but the billboard is something people will remember considering how seldom the state bodies try to be creative in their communications.
